    ?Garden Journal

Published by T Morse on Aug 23rd 2023

I love the GreenStalk Garden Journal! It is so cute and beautiful! The cover is quite durable and it is filled with high quality pages that have an abundance of planting maps, as well as pages for planning, jotting down notes and one of my favorites...the plant log(which I can't wait to use)! One thing I really appreciate about this journal is that I can buy it and begin using it at any time of year with out worrying about wasting the calendar pages because you write in the months, year and dates yourself. I really like it and am very happy with it.

    Wow!!

Published by Rachel Godfrey on Jul 27th 2023

I wasn't sure what my thoughts on this journal were going to be but wow!! The quality is fantastic. But the highlight is the number of different page types available! I'm already starting my notes for next year and plan to use my experiences to improve my greenstalk layouts and management for years to come. This is getting tucked in with my seeds when the season is over so I have it ready when it's time to start seeds. Such a well thought out design as always!

    Greenstalk Journal

    Published by J M on Jul 26th 2023

I like this journal but feel it could be a bit more useful if the layout were different. There are 24 small monthly calendars, 18 pages that have 2 tiers per page, 16 pages that have 3 tiers per page with a different layout for labeling, 2 plant log pages, 4 inventory/supplies pages, 4 to-do pages, and 21 notes pages. I wish the pages were numbered and for a blank index page in the front to fill in as needed. This would make it easier to find the pages containing information on the specific planter you want to view. The layout for the planter pages could be a bit different because it is impossible to see a whole greenstalk on one layout at the moment. Having the option to choose which layout you prefer so you only get one but with more pages of that layout would be amazing. I think there are more monthly calendars that necessary but that could be a personal preference thing. The plant logs, to-do lists, and notes pages are great and have plenty of room to jot down everything you need to track. I love that this journal is compact and easy to keep nearby in the garden. It's not bulky at all and easily fits in my apron so it's out of the way but right there if I need to take notes or update something.

    Wonderful Journal

Published by KATIE EISEMAN on Jun 28th 2023

I feel like I can't say enough good things about this journal. It's nice and compact. The quality is sturdy. Planning/Planting records are easy to keep because you can see and build your tiers, log your plants, and the section that list several plants with their maturity days is a great addition. It also provides whether the plants are for the Leaf or the Original. No more pulling out my cheat sheet!

    A planners dream!!

Published by Kym on Jun 25th 2023

I started my spring garden using an excel spreadsheet and hated that I had to pull out my computer and take it to the garden! The GreenStalk Journal has saved me from my computer. It includes all.the.things you need in order to plan plus plenty of space to take notes, helpful tips and enough calendar space to map out when you start seedlings and when you plant. Plus, it’s super cute covered in strawberries ?!! Thanks for a fabulous planning tool!

    Straight Forward Record Keeping

Published by Martha Roe on Jun 24th 2023

This journal is a gem. It is very well thought out and makes sense. First, the spiral binding makes it easy to write in without the need to hold it open. The cover page has a place to keep track of location, zone, temps, frost dates - very handy information to have at your fingertips. Handy tips and several blank fillable calendars and planting maps make it easy for any one to follow - even if they didn't help plant! The smaller planting map with area for notes -- perfect for noting those oddities or exceptions. Pages in the back for recording seed or starter information. It is just very well thought out. I have used this to document all my gardening thus far this season. Color codes page edges really make it an easy to use quick refence guide. Thank you for such a useful tool. I have (4) 3 tier towers and I find this to be an outstanding way to keep track of my progress throughout the season.

    Love this GreenStalk Journal!

Published by Joyce on Jun 12th 2023

Keeping accurate gardening records is essential, and this journal will help you! The journal is very well organized with a blank calendar for each month so you can enter what needs to be planted at what time of the year, and best of all there are two years worth of blank calendars! Next are the planting map pages (each level of GreenStalk is pictured) so you can enter what you have planted or will plant on each level of your GreenStalk. There is also a plant log so you can enter all the seeds and/or plants you have purchased with dates as well as an inventory and supplies section. My personal favorite is the TO-DO section since I am a list maker and love my lists! Finally, the last section simply called notes, could definitely be a keepsake for you or your children's drawings or thoughts on this years' gardening adventures!

    Journal

Published by Tanya on Jun 5th 2023

I liked the idea of this journal, but the layout got in the way for me. I only gave it 4 stars because I want to see my whole tower on one page, but there were either 4 or 6 tiers per page. Since my towers have either 5 or 7 tiers, this bugged me. But the drawings are large enough to take good notes if you want to & there's some blank space at the end for the rest of your garden.
